After the killer kills, after the living
are dead,
somebody has to clean up the mess.
And you thought your job sucked.
Gabriella, a Columbian immigrant,
is obsessed with understanding violent crime. The current string
of murders by "The Blue Blood Killer" of affluent Miami socialites
provides her with fodder for her scrapbook of death. She lands a
job with a post-murder cleaning service and during a Blue-Blood
clean-up job, discovers evidence that police have overlooked.
Marking the feature-film directorial debut of Reb
Braddock and based on one of his short films -- the one that allegedly
inspired the third segment of Quentin Tarantino's Pulp Fiction in
which crime clean-up specialist Harvey Keitel shows up at a gory murder
scene to supervise evidence disposal -- this jet-black, blood-soaked
crime comedy takes the idea a step further to tell the story of a
Miami Latina who feeds her fascination with serial killers by getting
a job with a company that specializes in cleaning up murder scenes.
She is particularly interested in the dashing Blue Blood Killer who
has been beheading wealthy women all over town, The woman adores her
work and in one scene gracefully dances around a murder sight brandishing
a knife miming the role of both the killer and the victim. Eventually
her work leads her straight into the killer's arms for a shocking
and deadly last tango. Tarantino was the executive producer for this
film. -- Sandra
